Stairway Step Lighting Done Right on Mummy Mountain

Dark stairways are a real hazard - and honestly, they just look unfinished. A long flight of exterior stairs with no lighting is an accident waiting to happen, especially when you're heading out at night or coming home late. It's one of those things homeowners put off until they finally decide enough is enough.

We worked with a homeowner on Mummy Mountain to fix exactly that. The staircase runs long and steep, and without lighting, navigating it after dark was a guessing game. Our approach was to install recessed step lights on every single riser - flush-mounted, clean, and consistent all the way up.

The result is a stairway that's fully visible from bottom to top. Each step gets its own individual pool of light, which means no shadowy gaps and no squinting to find your footing.
